(GRA) Gun Runner Arsenal challenges made easy (With pictures)

To complete this challenges, and gain the achievements you will need the dlc "Gun runner's arsenal"

This dlc unlocks new weapons and brings new challenges to new vegas
This dlc brings 19 challenges, and I will show you the best way to get the achievements.



To win the achievement, you need to complete 3 challenges of each difficulty, however most guides just tell you what to do, but not how to do it, that's why I made an easy to follow guide.

For this challenges, you need to have a basic save, with the following conditions
-Can enter the strip
-Haven't spoken to Benny yet
-Haven't explored vault 22
-Haven't disabled or killed Mr.House
-You are not hated by the NCR(you can be hated, however being neutral will make it easier)

Once that's done, it's time to go shopping!
Go to the robot in Gun runners as it will sell most weapons and ammo you need

Another place you can get weapons for this achievements is Mick and Ralph.

The Same Could Be Said of All Religious Weapons
Kill 15 feral ghouls with Maria, Gehenna, or Holy Frag Grenades

For this challenge, you need to complete it after doing the "Talk About Owned" challenge, and equipping the Maria weapon (Benny weapon)

Make your way to Old Nuclear Test Site

As you get close to this location a lot...and I mean a lot of ghouls will show up, and start shooting, remember to have enough ammo!

Keep shooting and this challenge is yours.

You Don't Belong In This World!
Kill 10 Abominations with Katanas, Dynamite, Machetes, Throwing Spears, Throwing Knives, and/or Throwing Hatchets.

There is 2 ways to complete this challenge.
Either by going the vanilla way and going into vault 22, and slashing all creatures inside
Or the DLC way, and taking the lonesome road and killing all tunnelers

This one is pretty straighforward, as you just need to kill any monster with any of the above weapons.

Here is the location of vault 22

A Slave Obeys
Kill Mr. House with a 9 iron or Nephi's Golf Driver.

This one is pretty straightforward, go to the penthouse in the lucky 38, and go in front of Mr.House.
You will find a computer next to a bookshelf

To unlock this therminal you will need 75 science, A Lucky 38 VIP keycard from the H&H Tools factory (top floor) or from the top of Chief Hanlon's desk in his office (inside the main building at Camp Golf).

Kill the robots before they kill you, and unlock the 2nd therminal. Take the elevator to meet Mr. House


Use this therminal to pull Mr.House, talk with him and tell him you will kill him
Pull out a 9 Iron or Golf driver and finish him off, this challenge is yours!

** - Talk About Owned
Kill Benny with his own gun, Maria
For this challenge you need to either pickpocket Benny's gun (high chances you fail), or take his gun while he is shooting at you (easy way)
Some people say if you let Benny run away, you are able to get his gun in the legion camp and shoot him, while others say it's not possible.

My method is slightly harder but doable

Go to the tops casino, this needs to be the first time you meet Benny, when you meet him ask to talk in private in his suite.(don't bring any companions)
Once inside(hopefully alone) try to pickpocket him. if this fails and he notices you, he will start shooting you, prepare a weak weapon of yours for the next step.

Activate VATS and shoot only his gun,you can try to shoot his arm, but it's recommended you only shoot the gun soo it flies out of his hand. Once it does grab it quickly on the floor, as Benny will quickly catch it.

Once you have it, equip it and finish Benny

Nyah! See?
Kill 10 Chairmen, White Gloves, or Omertas with any submachine gun, light machine gun, or minigun.

For this challenge, we are going to The Ultra Luxe, inside the Strip. (remember to leave your companion outside)

Once inside security will ask for you to give your weapons, refuse to do so, and start shooting!
If you see someone with a mask, just shoot them, and search their body, as you will need a key to go inside the reserved area where you will find a lot of members

Keep shooting and the challenge will be yours

White Line Nightmare
Kill 20 Fiends, Vipers, or Jackals with tire irons, baseball bats, lead pipes, machetes, .44 Magnum revolvers, or sawed-off shotguns.

For this challenge I recommend getting a .44 magnum revolver but any of the above weapons is fine.

For this challenge just go to vault 3 and leave your companion outside

And start shooting non stop, killing all of them inside should grant you the challenge, pretty easy :D

*** Deathclaw Pro Hunter: Kill 5 adult Mojave Wasteland Deathclaws with .22 Pistols, Switchblades, Boxing Tape, Recharger Rifles, or Dynamite.

Before you start the challenge make sure you have enough ammo and dynamite for this.

The best way to get this is going to The Thorn

Once inside, you need to find Red Lucy, when you talk with her, ask to enter the arena and to fight deathclaws.

This might not be able to do straight up, if so you will have to complete some quests for her, where you collect eggs from different creatures. keep trying until you are able to fight deathclaws.

Once you are able to enter the arena, start attacking the deathclaw from far away until he has 2 bars of health, once it has low health, use dynamite/recharger rifle or .22 pistols.

The challenge warning should start appearing, if not you might be doing something wrong.
If you are doing well, then just talk with Red Lucy and ask to fight another deathclaw.
Repeat this 5 times and the challenge is yours!

Man-Machine Interface
Kill 10 Mojave Wasteland Mr. Gutsies and/or sentry bots with brass knuckles, spiked knuckles, tire irons, and/or lead pipes.

This one is somewhat time consuming, however doable.

First go to Nipton

Once there go inside this house

And using your weapon of choice, kill the robot


This robot spawns every 3 days, so remember to visit him once in a wild






However, you might want to finish this as fast as possible
Go to REPCONN headquarters, and hit one of the robots, doing it will activate the security Sentry bots

They are strong, so use other weapons to take most of their health, and when they have 3-2 bars of health left, equipe your weapon of choice and finish them off.
Go to all floors to kill as many sentry bots as possible

Armed For Bear
Kill any 15 named NCR Rangers or commissioned officers (Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel, General) with machetes, Rippers, chainsaws, throwing spears, or ballistic fists.

This challenge is high time consuming but easy, for it to be as easy as possible, I highly recommend you complete the quest Return to Sender and after do that, do this challenge.

This quest shows you the location of most NCR spots, where you can find 1-2 character you need to kill for this challenge.

Most of their bases are located on the East side of the map

Keep killing all NCR members you find in the quest locations, and if you are still missing some, head for the HELIOS One, where you will find lots of NCR members.

Keep going and the challenge is yours!
