How to be a Terrible Person in the Wastelands

🧨 STEP 1: Character Creation – Born to Be Bad
SPECIAL: Focus on Strength, Endurance, and Agility – you want to be a violent powerhouse. Dump Charisma and Intelligence.

Traits:

Kamikaze (for action point boosts, because you're reckless)

Loose Cannon or Trigger Discipline depending on your preferred murder style

Tag Skills:

Guns (or Melee if you wanna be a psycho with a chainsaw)

Sneak (for betrayal and backstabs)

Speech (for lying, manipulating, and instigating conflict)

💀 STEP 2: Goodsprings – Make a First Impression
Help Powder Gangers destroy Goodsprings.

Kill Ringo. Kill Trudy. Burn it all down.

Rob Doc Mitchell blind before you leave. Maybe kill him too, just to make it personal.

Avoid being friendly. Pick the rudest, most aggressive dialogue options always.

🔥 STEP 3: Powder Gangers and NCR – Fake Friends, Real Murder
Join the Powder Gangers, but betray them as soon as they outlive their usefulness.

Constantly antagonize the NCR – kill troopers, blow up supply lines, do NOT help them.

Take the "I Fought the Law" quest and side with Eddie at the prison. Bonus evil points for betraying him later.

🛠️ STEP 4: Nipton – Your Kind of Town
When you see Vulpes Inculta and the Legion crucifying people, say: “Nice work.”

Nipton is your vibe. Lean into it.

🛡️ STEP 5: Legion Time – Embrace the Darkness
Side with Caesar’s Legion.

Help them with atrocities. Force people into slavery. Burn towns. Crucify folks. Don't flinch.

Do Render Unto Caesar and follow through. Wipe out the NCR.

🧟 STEP 6: Companion Cruelty – Break Hearts & Minds
Don’t recruit the “nice” ones. If you do, mistreat them:

Boone – murder civilians in front of him.

Cass – work with the Crimson Caravan and the Van Graffs to assassinate her.

Veronica – backstab the Brotherhood.

Keep ED-E and Raul, because they're less judgmental and more... disposable.

🧨 STEP 7: Kill Count and Chaos
Wipe out the Boomers, Brotherhood of Steel, Followers of the Apocalypse, etc.

Commit random murder in Freeside, Westside, and the Strip.

Blow up House, the NCR, and Yes Man – leave no future standing.

🧠 STEP 8: Evil Perks to Aim For
Cannibal – eat the dead. Make it a habit.

Terrifying Presence – for intimidating cowards.

Black Widow/Lady Killer – use charm as a weapon.

Mister Sandman – kill sleeping people. It's rude and creepy.

Certified Tech (Old World Blues) – kill robots for profit.

🎇 STEP 9: DLC Mayhem
Dead Money – betray everyone.

Honest Hearts – help Salt-Upon-Wounds if you can, or sabotage everyone.

Old World Blues – don’t restore anything. Kill your creators.

Lonesome Road – nuke both the NCR and Legion. Why choose?

☢️ STEP 10: Endgame – Be the Devil
Go with Caesar’s Legion, or seize power for yourself with Yes Man – then execute every faction leader.

Leave the Mojave a burning, lawless wasteland under your rule.

If you really want to be awful: betray Caesar too. Let him die of his tumor. Replace him. Be worse.
