Black Ops 3 Community Patch/ Fixes [ENG/ SPA] [UPDATED 23/03/2023]

The game has become a HUGE security risk. FIXED!

For those, who don't know what it means: because of an exploit, people can run codes on your pc without you knowing it. They can install malwares, backdoors, you can basically get ratted through the game, even if you're playing singleplayer.

Zombies is still playable with t7 patch made by shiversoftdev.
Don't forget to set up a network password, so only can those join you, who have the password. That way cheaters can't get to you, since you're not connected to the official servers.

Just for you to know: Please do not try to use any public cheats with this patch. Almost all of them are incompatible.

UPDATE 03/03/2023: It seems that miraculously Treyard fixed this exploit today with a game update. YES! However, the menu stuttering and ingame fps issues still remains. Thats where this patch comes in.

The menu stuttering will mostly stop if you have campaign, multiplayer, and zombies installed. You can install or remove any DLC, but those 3 parts must be installed to reduce the stuttering.

You have to download the community patch made by shiversoftdev.

You can found it Here[github.com]

Download the last release (at this time last version is 2.00 - NEW!!) of the file t7.community.patch.2.xx.zip.

Unzip the files wherever you want and execute file t7patch_2.xx.exe

Notice that "xx" is the patch's current version.

This is pretty simple. Every time you want to play black ops 3, zombies in solo or co-op even the campaign, open t7patch_2.xx.exe before launching the game. A window like this will open.

Change your name, use something different from your original Steam name.

Also create a Network password. If not playing in matchmaking, set a network password to enable the best protection.

Note: Anyone who wants to play with you needs to have the same network password. If you want to play in normal matchmaking again, clear the network password.

Make sure that the Friends Only is already checked.

Finally run the game normally.

-It may crash the game when you unload a mod

-You can found new bugs if you play the singleplayer campaign with this patch ON

AYes.

Q: Do I need to run the patch if I am playing solo offline?

ASimple answer, no. Technical answer, maybe. If you are high profile, run it regardless because steam networking is complicated.

Q: Does this fix the RCE vulnerabilities you mentioned in your video?A: Yes. This fixes 2 of the known RCE vulnerabilities. To my knowledge, there is at least one more and I am actively looking for it.

Q: Do I need a VPN?

AIf you are high profile or a streamer, yes. Otherwise, not likely. If you are getting hit offline (internet) often, run a VPN.

Q: Do I need an alternate steam profile? My stats don't transfer over!A: Steam alts are only recommended for high profile players or streamers. If you are not being attacked, you don't need an alt. Your stats will not transfer to your new account, and if you wish to retain stats you may need to resort to third party tools.

Q: Does this patch work on Steam deck? Mac OS? Linux?

ANo. This patch is only designed to work on PC (Windows computers). I do not have plans to support other platforms at this time.

Q: Does this patch fix the FPS issue?

AYes. There is a small subset of users who experience an additional frame rate drop at the start of matches, but this issue will be addressed when possible.

Q: Can you make this patch compatible with other mod menus, cheats, or third party tools?

ANo. The patch uses a lot of complicated techniques to patch the game that interfere with most third party tools. This is due to the fact that Black Ops III is heavily resistant to patching by non-official sources. Additionally, I consider it a bonus that cheaters must choose to play unprotected to the griefing mechanisms that they have used against the community for so long.

Q: Will you ever post source code?

AEventually. The patch is closed source right now because it fixes some major exploits which could very negatively affect the servers and unpatched users. When these exploits become widely known, I have no problem releasing source to the public.

Q: Why does my anti-virus say this is malware?

AThe code is protected against reverse engineering. This protection unintentionally prevents anti-virus scans from identifying whether the tool is safe or not. Modern anti-virus will, by default, label anything that it cannot scan completely as malware to protect users.

Q: What is the LPC file for?

AThe LPC file is to fix the A.B.C error on sign in. Not necessary for most users.

Q: Is this tool still updated?

AYes.

Q: Are the security concerns still valid?

AYes. The game has not received an update since 2019.

Q: Is there a ban risk when using this tool?

ANo.

Q: Will this affect other games? Can another anticheat ban me for using this on BO3?

ANo.

Q: Will this work for Linux? Will this work for Windows 7?

AThe patch only supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 for now.

AYou can report your crashes.log to me, but as I have explained in the video tutorial, multiplayer matchmade lobbies are going to continue to have crashing issues (among others such as aimbot, godmode cheaters, etc), and I do not plan to continue playing cat and mouse with the cheating community. They may not have a life, but I do.

El juego (actualizado por ultima vez en 2019) se ha vuelto un GRAN riesgo de seguridad. ARREGLADO!

Para aquellos que no sepan: un exploit permite que desconocidos puedan ejecutar códigos en tu computadora sin tu consentimiento. Pueden instalarte malwares, spywares. Básicamente pueden hackearte la computadora mediante el juego, incluso si estas jugandolo en modo de un jugador.

El modo Zombies aun puede ser jugado usando un parche llamado t7 creado por shiversoftdev.

No olviden configurar, dentro del parche, una contraseña de conexión (network password) de modo que solo puedan ingresar a tu partida aquellos que tengan dicha contraseña. De esa manera los cheaters no pueden ingresar a tu partida ya que no estarás conectado a los servidores oficiales.

Ademas, para que sepan de antemano: no traten de usar ningún tipo de cheat publico ejecutando este parche. La mayoría de ellos son incompatibles y eso ocasionaría que el juego crashease.

ACTUALIZACION 03/03/2023: Parece ser que milagrosamente Treyard arregló el exploit hoy con una actualizacion del juego. Sin embargo, los problemas con el framerate en el menu principal y los bajos fps en las partidas aun es un problema.

Los problemas de fps en el menu dejarán de ocurrir si tenés la Campaña, el multijugador y el zombies instalado. Podés agregar o quitar cualquier DLC pero esas 3 partes tienen que estar instaladas para reducir el stuttering.

Son libres de probar esa solución!

Tenés que descargar el parche de la comunidad creado por shiversoftdev.

Podés encontrarlo Aquí[github.com]

Descargá la ultima versión (en este momento es la 2.00 - Nueva Version!!) del archivo t7.community.patch.2.xx.zip.

Descomprime los archivos donde desees y ejecuta t7patch_2.xx.exe

Noten que donde dice "xx" es el numero de la versión actual del parche.

Es bastante sencillo. Cada vez que quieras jugar Black Ops 3, la campaña, el modo zombies incluso en solo o en co-op debes abrir antes t7patch_2.xx.exe. Una ventana como la de a continuación se abrirá.

Change your name, usa algo diferente de tu nombre original en Steam.

Podés también crear una contraseña de conexión (Network password) para asegurarte tener la mejor protección.

Nota: Cualquiera que quiera jugar con vos necesita tener la misma contraseña de conexión que la tuya. Si querés jugar nuevamente con el matchmaking normal, dejá en blanco esa sección

Asegúrate de que la casilla Friends Only esté checkeada.

Finalmente, ejecuta el juego con normalidad.

Eso es todo. Como podrán ver, es bastante facil y esto les va a ayudar a jugar mas protegido y con varias correcciones de bugs y errores.
