Special stats, traits, tagged skills

S:7
P:5
E:8
C:1
I:4
A:6
L:9

Strength: This stat is very important for using heavier melee weapons and getting the extra 0.5 melee damage bonus per level. Once you get strength implant and reinforced spine from old world blues, youll have 10 strength at the end of the game

Perception: I keep it at 5 just so that when i get the perception implant, i can get it up to 6 for better criticals perk

Endurance: I put this at 8 because there are 8 useful implants you can get for your character ( strength, perception, endurance, intelligence, agility, luck, sub dermal armor and monocyte breeder)

charisma: trash stat 0/10 would not recommend at all

Intelligence: i kept this at 4 so you can at least take educated perk at level 4 to get more skills points to make up for low intelligence

Agility: I only have this at 6 because once you get the agility implant, itll be up to 7 for the slayer perk requirements

Luck: Arguably best special stat in my opinion. I have this at 9 to gamble early on and have the extra skill points that comes with high luck!! Its also very good later when crits becomes stronger with perks and late game weapons

Tagged skills:

1.Melee weapons
2.lockpick
3.Survival

Traits:

Skilled: Pretty much essential in any build. Just having an extra 5 points in all your skills is going to be good no matter what. Plus once you leave the goodsprings area and have the option to rebuild character, you can take skilled again which gives you another +5 to all your skills.

Heavy handed: This perk is very good early on as crits in the early game arent good until late game. The boost to melee and unarmed damage early on can be very useful and make you one hit weak enemies early on with early game weapons

Note: Once you go into old world blues mid/late game, you can switch out your traits in the sinks auto doc and get traits like built to destroy and Hoarder that scale better into the late game.

Perks from 1-50

The perks i will be going for will make you very tanky, make your melee attacks insanely strong and your character will be very drug heavy by taking lots of drugs to boost combat.

Level 2 - Intense training (I would use this for either agility or endurance, whichever you prefer)

Level 4 - Educated (IN 4) ( i do recommend this perk since we do have a low intelligence character, so having 2 extra skills points per level can make a difference in the long run)

Level 6 - Rad child ( Survival 70) ( You get yourself irradiated to 800 rads and your character will just regen health like there is no tomorrow!!, this perk is a must for melee, unarmed builds because it by passes the need for stimpaks and food for health. This perk will carry you into the late game easily and make this build alot wasier to play

Level 8 - Stone wall (ST 6, EN 6)

Level 10 - Super slam (ST 6 , Melee weapons 45)

Level 12 - Piercing strike (Unarmed 70) ( This perk is essential as melee/unarmed weapons will negate 15 points of DT, which is how much DT a strong enemy like deathclaws have!!)

Level 14 - Unstoppable force (ST 7, Melee Weapons 90) ( this perk makes fighting melee/unarmed enemies allot easier to deal with if they try to block your melee attacks)

Level 16 - Purifier (I would skip better criticals for now as you still have the heavy handed trait that reduces critical damage)

Level 18 - Chem resistant (Medicine 60)

Level 20 - Chemist (Medicine 60)

Level 22 - Better criticals ( PE 6, LK 6) ( at this point i would go to old world blues to get the heavy handed trait removed and switched with another trait because at this point crits start to become very good)

Level 24 - Slayer (AG 7, Unarmed 90)

Level 26 - Toughness (EN 5)

Level 28 - Toughness (2)

Level 30 - Implant GRX (EN 8)

Level 32 - Implant GRX (2)

Level 34 - Toughness (1) (EN 5)

Level 36 - Toughness (2)

Level 38 - Old world gourmet ( EN 6, Survival 45)

Level 40 - Strong back (ST 5, EN 5)

Level 42 - Burden to bear (ST 6, EN 6)

Level 44 - Adamanium skeleton

Level 46 - Life giver (EN 6)

Level 48 - Comprehension (IN 4)

Level 50 - Aint like that now ( Karma less than -250)

Special perks:

Elijahs ramblings - once you complete the dead money dlc, you can go to elijahs computer in the abadnoned bunker and download a holotape message. Youll then want to go to veronice at trading post 188 and exhaust all dialogue options about elijah. Once youve done that, you can tell veronica you know where father elijah is and tell her there is a encryoted message from elijah. Once she decrypts the message, youll want to make sure not to show her what is said on it and keep it for yourself. Youll then get the elijah ramblings perk which gives you 50%bonus crit damage with melee weapons

Melee hacker - Basically just kill enemies with melee weapons and deal damage and youll eventually get this perk which will Increase melee weapon attack speed by 10% with the max 2nd level
