FIVE Remastered EE Guide

Go down to level 3 and find the central room. It is the second door on your left from the elevator.




To open PaP room, return to the war room and activate all 4 defcon switches, there are 2 on each level. Once activated the teleporter in the middle of the room will have the PaP machine floating inside of it.




When you enter the PaP room look around for the hacker. It can be to the right of the PaP on a side table or at the front of the table as soon as you teleport in.

The winter's Howl is a buildable wonder weapon on level 3. The work bench is the first door on the left after you exit the elevator.


The barrel will drop randomly from a nova crawler when it is killed. From my attempts it cannot be a ray gun and must be unpacked


To get the receiver you must kill the pentagon thief without him taking your weapons. A packed Ray gun mk II will do this with ease


For the grip you must find the ABH gum on level 3.

In the room with the bio hazard placards on its outside walls to the left of the three large cylinders holding dead people
Once you have found the ABH walk INTO the room with the picture of Nixon which is in the room with the bio hazard placards on its outside walls, and use the ABH. It will teleport you to a room.
The grip will be on a desk with 2 tape recorders or the table in the center of the room. You must grab it quickly as you will only be inside for 20 seconds before you teleport out of the room.
Once you have all 3 pieces return to the build station and craft the winters howl. It will now be available in the mystery box. It can also be packed to turn into the winters fury.

Okay! Now it is time to start the main steps to complete the EE.


STEP 1: Hacking the defcon levels
Once you are set up with weapons and completed everything above we are ready to start the main quest line.
You need to find 4 numbers near pictures of the main characters to find the order for your defcon hack step.
This may not be all of them but this is all I could find
Kennedy: Upstairs directly across from the elevator is a framed photo of Kennedy on a table.
Mcnamara: Wood barrier in war room elevator to take you to floor 3.
Castro: In PaP room
Nixon: Level 3 in the room with the bio hazard placards on its outside walls.
Once you have all your numbers you must input the correct order with your hacker.
THIS WILL COST 2000 POINTS

JFK: Top of war room far left from elevator
Nixon: Top of war room closest to elevator on the left side
Castro: To the right of jug on bottom floor
Mcnamara: To the left of the elevator bottom floor


In my round I got Nixon, Castro, Mcnamara, Kennedy
After you hack in the correct order the PA system will play a defcon notification with a glitch at the end of it. If you get it incorrect a buzzer will sound indicating your failure.

STEP 2: Repairing spawn room traps
Go to the right of the war room elevator and locate the first trap piece. YOU CAN ONLY CARRY ONE AT A TIME.
Pick it up and head up to the spawn room and repair one of the traps.
Now head to level 3 and enter the room where you build the winters fury. Pick up the piece and repair the other trap in the spawn room.
Once repaired, activate both at the SAME TIME. Both traps will send a lighting bolt into the 4 clocks in the spawn room. Once the clocks are energized shoot in this order 1-4-3-2.
Once you shoot the correct order a completion sound will play. The pentagon thief will spawn and give you a crossbow. If you want to keep your guns I would recommend mule kick for this.
STEP 3: Shoot 4 tape recorders.
There are 4 tape recorders in the spawn area and war room. Each level has 2 recorders. You must shoot these tape recorders with the crossbow obtained from the pentagon thief.

Spawn room:
Barrier to the left of the presidential portraits.
Across the hall from quick revive
War room:
Barrier to the right of JFK defcon switch,

Barrier to the right before Level 3 elevator
Once you have shot all 4 tape recorders you are ready for the last step.

STEP 3: Escort/Soul Box
This is the final step of the EE so take the time to get the perks you need. The only weapon you will be using is the winters howl so don’t worry about PaPing weapons past this point. IF YOU ARE NOT READY DO NOT GO TO LEVEL 3. I would recommend using Cache back or Alchemical Antithesis.

Once you are ready head to the elevator in the war room and go down to level 3. When the doors open your screen will flash white. There will be a frozen nova crawler with a ring around it, you will need to stand in the ring and get kills to allow the frozen nova crawler to move and complete a lap around level 3. Wait to shoot nova crawlers until they are close enough to count towards the soul box. Once completed the Frozen nova crawler will enter the elevator and you will be brought to the war room. You will need to skip the round to begin in the next escort,
Once the round is complete a frozen hell hound will spawn. You will need to do the same thing as before except for nova crawlers there will be plaguehounds.
After the hellhound completes its lap it will take you up to the spawnroom. If you run out of ammo go to the top elevator and grab the max ammo.
Once you are in the spawn room you once again will have to flip the round.

Once round change occurs a frozen zombie will spawn in the elevator, do the same as before and guide him around as he completes his lap.
You must kill the toxic zombies to make him move. Lead him to the teleporter and you have completed the EE!
This is a very simple and straight forward EE and gets you set up pretty good to go for high rounds! After I completed the EE I got to round 73.

Once you have completed the EE you will be awarded all perks and the Tundragun. To get the tundragun you must return to level 3 and go to the cage right of the Winters howl build bench. Interact with the cage and you will be able to equip the tundragun!

There are 2 secret songs to find in the map

The first song is Samantha's Sorrow
To start the quest head down to level 3 and find the pig in the room with the claymore wall buy.
Once you find the pig kill it and you will hear some laughter. You will have to listen to the music and find a small spinning pig. You must find 5 pigs and shoot them. When shot there will be a blue explosion. After you have found 5 return to the pig you killed and interact with the pig in the middle of the room. It will spawn a max ammo and the song will begin to play. As far as I know this is not timed.

The second song is Won't Back Down by Eminem & P!nk
This quest is very easy, all you need to do is find 3 ringing red phones around the map

The first is located to the left of quick revive on a table
Second is located in front of the power switch on a desk
The final phone is located in the PaP room to the left as soon as you teleport in
