Team Composition

Sniper’s Tango

Grave Robber : Lunge, Shadow Fade, Poison Dart, Pick to the Face

Trinkets : Letter Opener and Raider Talisman.
This makes Grave Robber able to outspeed rank 3 more reliably and lunge far deadlier with better Acc and damage, on top of this you get scouting chance which always brings a lot of utility.

Jester : Solo, Finale, Inspiring Tune, Dirk Stab

Trinkets : Ancestor’s Coat and Tyrant’s Fingerbone
Jester is going to rely a lot on Solo in this team, this is why it is important for him to be able to dodge hits reliably. In addition, the additional speed while he is in rank 1 will allow for a quick finale turn 2.

Arbalest : Sniper Shot, Medical Bandage, Flare, Bolas

Trinkets : Ancestor's Musket Ball and Keening Bolts
This team is so fast it doesn’t need for Arbalest to heal that much, her base heal and Wyrd Reconstruction will be enough to keep it healthy. Since her attacks already have a high Acc, you don’t need Acc trinkets either. This allows her to go full damage and crit, resulting an offensive machine

Occultist : Hands from the Abyss, Wyrd Reconstruction, Vulnerability Hex, Weakening Curse

Trinkets : Demon’s Chauldron and Ancestor’s Pistol
Demon's Cauldron is an auto pick for Occ, that +stun chance and +crit makes Hands from the abyss one of the best skills in the game. The +debuff chance will also be really useful for Weakening Curse. The acc helps him land hits reliably against nearly all monsters, while the additional speed will allow you to mark before Arb’s turn, or to stun your targets before it can do anything.

Explication

This team got a lot of dancing going on, making the Arbalest that starts in rank 2 not as bad as you may initially think. Grave Robber can open with lunge, which should be enough to one shot rank 3 most of the time, which is then followed by Jester using Solo. Turning your team into Arbalest-Grave Robber-Occultist-Jester. Arbalest only needs to get outspeeded by one of those 2 heroes to be able to use Sniper Shot. Meanwhile, Occultist can either stun a dangerous target or mark for arbalest to guarantee a kill. During turn 2, if Grave Robber outspeeds Jester, she gets to use a second time Lunge without needing shadow fade, which can be then followed by Finale. Finale on turn 2 after using solo deals 19-35 dmg with 160 Acc and 25% crit chance, which is enough to kill something on its own.

Now that is in the ideal speed rolls, and for this to happen you really want to bring heroes with quirks that compliment the team well (high speed on Grave Robber and Jester). But even when it doesn’t go this way this team is still really effective since you still get to Lunge and Solo+Finale. All of it while being able to easily stall with stress heals and damage debuff. If you have any speed quirks on Jester and Grave Robber I recommend using Fuseman’s Matchstick over Ancestor's Musket Ball for the Arbalest. You can also run Topshelf Tonic on Grave Robber over the Raider’s Talisman, and have Ancestor’s Map on the Arbalest.

Strengths :
  • Really Fast
  • Three really high burst of damage
  • Good turn 1 defense plan
  • Multiple healing sources
  • Good stress heal
  • Excellent backline damage
  • Can prevent nighttime ambush

Weak points :
  • Low stuns
  • Loses tempo after turn 2
  • Speed rolls dictate your gameplan
  • Reliant on specific trinkets/quirks

Which areas to bring them ?

This team performs well in all areas except for weald. The big hp and prot enemies (fungal scratcher/artillery, unclean giants, virago...) will make sniping monsters harder to achieve, some of the fights can't be secured in two lunges like with other monsters' mashes. Solo helps with tanking hits if you don’t use Finale turn 2, but still, it’s way more effective in Ruins for example.
