Foreword

Every so often you download a character model that has been ported from Gmod to SFM, but they look lanky as hell.
Some of those people who port it even tell you "no worries, just load the ragdoll animation! :)"
Well, if they would actually know how to work the source engine you wouldn't need to mess with loading animations at all to begin with.

So, i've made a guide that shows how to port Gmod characters (or any character from any source engine game) into SFM without it looking like Lanky Kong. It's actually really easy

In addition, the guide shows how to deal with "Broken GMA files", and briefly mentions how to fix broken face flexes.

Required things

Slight addendum:
instead of using 7zip to "extract" the gma/lzma, just click the "Convert to expected file or folder" in Crowbar's Download tab.

You'll need:
Crowbar

Optional:
Notepad++[notepad-plus-plus.org]
Notepad ++ VDF Language[github.com] (Syntax highlight for CQ file and more)

If you have the same FaceFlex issue because the names have spaces in them, I made a Notepad++ macro[github.com] to fix this.
