how to the fortress films lighting style (aka creators of emesis blue)

its short and simple. load up a map (works with any) go to the console, and type in "r_shader_srgb 1". then add a character and some lights and pose it in any way you want and you're done!

(update : this isn't official. i assumed it was because it looked similar but this has been confirmed to not be the case. however, its a good trick if you have an incompatible graphics card)
